David Kennedy is a leading motorsport figure from the Republic of Ireland,
reaching Formula 1 as a driver with Theodore Racing in 1980 and enjoying a long sportscar career with Mazda.

David Kennedy is a leading motorsport figure from the Republic of Ireland reaching Formula 1 as a driver with Theodore Racing in1980 and enjoying a long sportswear career with Mazda.
David was one of his country’s first Grand Prix drivers and is widely seen as having helped pioneer the Irish move into international racing. David went on to organise automotive exhibitions in London and Tokyo before creating and developing one of the world’s prominent motorsport equipment and racewear retail companies. Since 1995, David has also been a Formula 1 commentator and analyst for Irish television as well as a driver manager and shareholder with top race-winning single seater race teams. David is also a board member on Ireland’s Mondello Park Race Circuit.
David was a key figure in Status Grand Prix as Managing Director. The team won the 2009 A1 GP World Championship, before branching out into GP2 and GP3 where the team won on numerous occasions
Now David focuses on Theodore Racing as Managing Director. Theodore Racing is an international motor racing team competing in the Macau Grand Prix, FIA Formula 2, FIA European Formula 3 and Formula 4 Championships.
